Our café may be closed for the moment, but we can now supply you with our gorgeous homemade food that can be available for collection or delivery. Treat yourself or your loved ones with Angela Reed food.

All you need to do is select what you would like, add it to your basket and check out!

Each dish is per person/portion.

Where you we deliver to?

Currently we deliver to a small radius of Saffron Walden – approx 5 miles from our shop in Church Street. So, if you have a CB10 or CB11 postcode, we can deliver to you.

That INCLUDES these villages: Ickleton, Hadstock, Great Chesterford, Ashdon, Strethall, Littlebury Green, Radwinter, Arkesden, Wicken Bonhunt, Widdington, Debden.

If you live outside of this area, it is collection only.

When delivering over £50 of food, delivery is free of charge. Otherwise a flat rate of £5 is applied to your order.

How many meals do I need to order?

Each meal portion contains enough for one adult. If you would like to feed 4 adults, you will need to order 4 portions.


How does collection work?

Collections will be from our Saffron Walden shop only. We have a dedicated collection spot on our Church Street entrance – if you opt for this method, we will contact you with further details.


How long will the meals last?

All use by dates and freezing/decanting details will be labelled on the boxes.

Any salad and veg – we will leave that up to your judgement, but generally all our meals are intended to be eaten on the same day.


Can I swap out items in boxes if I don’t like/want something?

Currently all our meals are only available with the set ingredients listed and swapping or removing ingredients is not something we can offer at the moment.


Can I heat my meal in a microwave, oven or on the hob?

All of our meals are microwavable and oven-safe, but the metal packaging is not microwave safe. Please transfer your meal into an oven/microwave proof dish before cooking. All instructions are included on the meals to help you cook them as we would!


How do you minimise contamination when handling allergens?

We do handle all allergens and we cannot guarantee these products have been made in an allergen free environment. You can read more by going onto our product descriptions.


Can I order all gluten-free/nut free/dairy items?

As above, we cannot guarantee any allergen free dishes. Read more on the specific dishes by going onto our product descriptions.

How long do typical deliveries take? When will it arrive?

On ordering the meal, the date you have chosen will be the date for delivery or collection for your food. The food will be delivered to you before 5pm on the day you choose. We will normally phone you to confirm a rough delivery time before arriving.


What if I’m not in? 

Once you have placed your order with us, we will send you an email to confirm your delivery. If for some reason you are not in when we try to deliver, we will ring you because some of our meals do need to be kept refrigerated and as such cannot be left unattended.


Can I cancel or edit my order? 

Once your order has been placed with Angela Reed, we will usually start making it or at least allocating the time to prepare it. Due to the nature of this supply chain it makes things a little tricky to cancel orders once they have been placed…. but in exceptional cases we will always try to help, again please contact us.


How can I pay for my order?

Currently we accept all card payments online.


How much will I be charged?

All the prices for our boxes can be found on our website, and each order will also come with a set delivery charge. Collection from the Saffron Walden shop is free.


Do you deliver on weekends?

We usually deliver Tuesday to Friday. Our latest availability is listed online under each meal.


Why don’t you offer allocated delivery slots?

We are working in very challenging circumstances, both in terms of supply chain and logistics, so in order to manage everyone’s expectations we have kept quite a wide delivery window to ensure we get to everyone.


Can I set up a recurring order?

For the time being we do not offer this service. The best thing to do is place your order manually via our website each week if you’d like a weekly delivery.


What do I do if there is a problem with my delivery?

Any problems with your delivery, please contact us.
