Open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Last orders 4:30pm.

Our latest development is that of the Cafe and Bakery, serving freshly prepared light lunches and fabulous cakes. We make everything (except the pork pies and fantastic sourdough bread) ourselves, and source local and fresh produce. Our own-brand coffee has been developed and roasted in Dunmow, our fish is fresh off the boats from Suffolk and our vegetables are grown just down the road!

We are lucky to have a great team in both the kitchen and front of house. In the kitchen we have Andrew and Jake. Andrew, who heads up the kitchen, is a trained pastry chef and came to us after a career in high end restaurants in London. Jake has worked locally and in London after completing an apprenticeship and brings great passion and enthusiasm to our lunch menu. Andrew and Jake are supported by a great team in the kitchen and all work hard to bring you the food you see before you.

We cook almost everything here from scratch using only fresh, thoughtfully sourced and seasonal ingredients. So please bear with us if we run out of something or your dish takes a few minutes to arrive.
