The Angela Reed Café is located in the very heart of our Saffron Walden shop. It’s light, airy, and relaxed atmosphere makes lunchtimes and shopping-breaks all the more pleasurable.
We serve light lunches and fabulous cakes and sweets. We make everything here (except the locally made sourdough bread) and only source local and fresh produce. Our own-brand coffee has been developed and roasted in Dunmow, our fish is fresh off the boats from Suffolk and our vegetables are grown just down the road!View Menu Book table

We cook almost everything here from scratch using only fresh, thoughtfully sourced and seasonal ingredients.
We are lucky to have a great team in both the kitchen and front of house. Our Head Chef Andrew Edwards is a trained pastry chef and came to us after a career in high end restaurants in London.
Andrew is supported by a great team in the kitchen and by the front of house staff team led by our wonderful manager, Paul Lewis.
